Nan Goldin: Variety Booth, New York City, 1983 – taken on the set of director Bette Gordon’s film Variety. Nan Goldin co-stars as Nan and the cast includes Sandy McLeod (above), Spalding Gray, Cookie Mueller, Will Patton, and Luiz Guzman, among many others. Kathy Acker wrote it, Tom DiCillo and John Foster shot it, John Lurie did the score. It’s an amazing movie and document of early ’80s NYC.
