Charles Holden’s London Transport designs

I was so excited to find Bright Underground Spaces in a publisher’s clearance shop today, it’s been on my mental wish list for a while.

Charles Holden is one of my all-time favourite architects. Probably the best testament to his skill is that 90% of his stations are still being used with very little change decades and decades after they were built.

Love Holden, one of the great London architects. His work extends beyond the tube stations, and it’s worth seeking his other designs to get a good picture of his significance. These are some great pics.
