In case you missed @lisa10028 post about it, this happened the other day while walking with Lily at the end of a long work day. Brooklyn looked up, and I turned to the men on the bench and we all agreed that whoever it was for, it probably wasn’t us and then just then a man on a bicycle moving far too fast for the sidewalk zipped by us, stating flatly that IT’S NOT EVEN THAT GOOD as he vanished into the crowd and I have to say that this kind of generous misanthropy is where Cambridge really comes up short. Brooklyn is where it’s not enough to draw hearts in the sky with an airplane, if you can’t do it better than everyone else on the ground.
