In the wooded parts of the park the bluebells are out. I remind myself to telephone Tilda to go to Kent and film them […] Next morning when I phoned her, she said there were bluebell woods around her school in Sevenoaks.
The camera can’t record the delicate scent that is the most pervasive quality of bluebell wood, and through the lens the flowers evaporate in the searing green of the new foilage.
