From@intelligentlifemagazine: big cities by day can become all too familiar. But on winter nights, even sights you know well can turn into something strange and new. For four years, Peter Kindersley prowled London’s back streets with his camera, looking for pictures to add to his series “Details of London by Night”. Here, he captures the celebrated chimneys of Battersea power station from a deserted side street with a pub on the corner.
