The Garrett AiResearch STAMP (Small Tactical Aerial Mobility Platform) feasibility demonstrator, 1974
A “flying jeep”, funded by the United States Marine Corps, who supplied the company with a Hughes OH-6 helicopter, used for the forward fuselage. A Garrett TSE231 turboshaft engine was installed, driving air through the intake at the rear of the craft, which was then exhausted through the rectangular ducts on each side.
