Long after humans are gone, and long after organic trees have withered away, these towers will still be standing.
Perhaps someday they will be studied by some kind of sentient lifeform, and they will start with a discovery that we’re only just arriving at now: trees seem to communicate with each other in some way we don’t really understand.
