You may know the Powell Street Railway better for a certain namesake cable car line that still runs today, but the station for the connecting steam train line to Golden Gate park (now discontinued) still stands at 7th Ave and Fulton.
The train shown in the historic postcard ran from Golden Gate Park to California Street where passengers transferred to cable cars.
