I have a lot of thoughts on Pacific Rim. And I have quite a lot of fanart in general that I want to make right now.
First off the bat, though; Mako Mori’s intro scene. God, that outfit. That Umbrella. The SECOND UMBRELLA she brought for her dad and/or the stray pilot he brought her to experiment on. The complete nonchalance towards the gigantic storm she’s standing in and the army of frantic engineers unloading artillery around her. Ahhhh… all of it.
