20220731: today’s reconstruction / inventory / packing was 6972: Polaris-I Space Lab from 1987. this set is unbelievably cool! I never had this when I was growing up, as most of my focus was (and still is) castle stuff but this set is so much fun! I realize it came out 35 years ago but there are so many neat features. there’s the two little space explorer ships that one mini-figure each can fly and then dock at the station, there’s sliding docking ports to take the mini-figures to the main lab, and the one mini-figure shuttle with antennas on the nose, wings that open, and a thruster that spins. plus, the blue window pane areas move down so you can actually put mini-figures at the computers. this is such a neat build and I’m very lucky to have purchased it :D
