After getting settled in my hotel in Berlin, I went for a walk to find dinner and ended up near Alexanderplatz where a winter festival is set up, complete with a huge ferris wheel. I took a detour and found this composition with the Fernsehturm. It’s an 0.8 second exposure holding the camera against a sign for improvised stability.

An interesting thing about the Sony A7 is that long exposures with its electronic first shutter sound a bit odd at first. There’s no click at the beginning of the exposure. The only sound is at the end of the exposure when the shutter closes and resets.
