20220903: since all my books are currently packed and in storage, my bookshelves have a little more display room. here’s a nice treat! this is all but one of the Blacktron I sets from the late 1980s. sets include 6876: Aienator, 6894: Invader, 6941: Battrax, 6954: Renegade, and 6987: Message-Interceptor Base. every set has detachable cockpits or flight/ground elements, many have droids, and they all feature the black and yellow pattern. overall, this was a really neat series with a lot of cool functions and ideas. I know I say this pretty frequently with the older space sets, but it just feels like there was so much imagination and creativity in the earlier sets.
20220914: the entire BlackTron collection in front of their boxes, getting ready to be shipped out. it’s only missing the small set 1875: Meteor Monitor, but this is an amazing series. I hope its new home/owner appreciates it as much as I have :)
