This is Tamiko Thiel, visual artist and industrial designer who in 1985 led the design team responsible for creating the hypercube chassis of the Thinking Machines CM-1.

This massively-parallel processing system was groundbreaking in both function and visual design. The striking looks of the CM-1 and CM-2 were said to have heavily influenced Steve Jobs, who would famously go on to elevate product design the forefront at NeXT computer, and later Apple.
