Part 1: The necromancer arrives

Page 1: Text at top: "PART 1: The Necromancer Arrives." A full page image of a person in the distance walking up a path to a castle, surrounded by tiny houses. It is nighttime and raining, with a full moon. Colours are a deep purple, except for the pale yellow moon. Overlaid at the bottom of the image are two smaller panels. Page 2: Three panels stacked vertically. We are inside the castle, and the walls and curtains in this room are a deep red. Panel 1: Vitality, girl king, has straight blonde hair to her chin and wears a circlet on her head. She is wearing a massive cloak, that looks almost purple from the light of the red room she is in. We see her from her shoulders up. She stands, looking out a window at the rainy night and full moon. Text reads, "The necromancer arrives the night before he's expected." Part 2: I give him my gold

Page 6: Text at top reads, "PART 2: I give him my gold." Three panels laid out in two rows. Panel 1: A large panel of Vitality and the necromancer at a breakfast table, food and tea on the table between them. Vitality wears her cloak as always, and has the gold circlet on her head. She lifts a cup up, and the necromancer has his eyes closed, gesturing with his cutlery. Text reads, "The necromancer says we have to start gather our materials." Panel 2: Close up of Vitality's hand lifting her cup of tea to her mouth. We see some rings on her fingers. By the tea cup, the text reads, "Strong black tea to wake them up." Panel 3: The necromancer is sitting next to Vitality. Her hands are on the folded cloack which rests on her lap. Text reads, "'Are you ready?' he asks. I tell him, 'Of course.'"
