A sketch of Marina City by George Charney for the Daily News, 1960, Chicago.
The Bertrand Goldberg designed towers were never meant to be 3, but Charney misinterpreted the original plans when he made his sketch. This was the erroneous rendition that went out to papers all over the country when the development was announced.
