Algoritmi
The term “algorithm” derives from the name of Abū ʿAbdallāh Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī (Persian: عَبْدَالله مُحَمَّد بِن مُوسَى اَلْخْوَارِزْمِي), transliterated into Latin as Algoritmi. He was a Persian mathematician, astronomer, geographer and scholar in Baghdad living c. 780 – c. 850.
