In 1990 Rizzoli published a book about Vignelli Associates, designed by Massimo Vignelli, called design: Vignelli. We recently discovered many materials in the archives showing the design process for the “red book.” What better place to start than with the grid?
Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we show off more of the design process work from this book. And rumor has it there is a forthcoming volume covering the years since 1990.
