i love in this movie how one of the leading ladies is mute and it still passes the bechdel test
it's like a slap in the face to all the movies that don't pass
and i love bang bang
because her character is like an inversion of the silent asian woman trope
she's mute but her personality is loud and confident
she kills a man for hitting on her in a racist way
she puts up with the brothers because it fits her needs for the time being
but she actually enjoys being around penelope and the two become good friends
when bang bang splits off she gives penelope her number and tells her to call her
while the brothers didn't even know she had a phone
penelope teaches her how to build a pinhole camera and bang bang teaches penelope how to blow shit up
i love their relationship and each of them as their own character and this movie and everything about it
don't even get me started on how much i love bloom
